The president retweeted a doctor who claims among other things that Alien DNA is used in medicine (no, not Mexicans, you know what The Omnivore means), that Demon Sperm is something-something--good for something--and that hydroxychloroquine works to stop COVID-19.
When Trump promoted her Twitter took steps to stop the spread of disinformation and Republicans, yet again, complained not about absurd conspiracy theory coming from the White House but about, again, conservative voices being silenced.
OANN, the president's "favorite channel" was going to air a video called "The Plandemic" which claims, among other gems, that Dr. Fauci helped engineer the virus (The Omnivore has not seen it--but has seen enough analysis to know it is weapons-grade bullshit). They aborted the showing, probably due to backlash (and maybe lawsuit), but there is literally no amount of disclaimer that could justify this. It's pure culture war, provided for those under Trump's spell, who hunger for it.
On Twitter we can see the Covid deniers, in their various forms, making claims both gross and subtle about how the media and the dems are lying to us about the virus.
People keep dying. Cases keep climbing. The assumption that everyone who doesn't die is purely okay keeps being disproved over and over and over.
A Cato Poll Shows Conservatives Afraid To Speak Their Minds
Oh woe is the conservative--afraid, according to a stunning, shocking, amazing Cato Poll that Trump donors and Trump supporters are--get this, make sure you are sitting down--afraid to come out as a Trump supporter. This, where libtards are generally thrilled to let everyone know their tisted views on animal-human sex or whatever those depraved demon-spermers believe.
Right.
Did you know that according to this poll (which The Omnivore is certain was totally unbiased in its approach) that Libbers--like 35% of them--approve of firing Trump voters?? Just for VOTING TRUMP??
Can you believe it?
CAN U BELIEV ET????
Yes, dear reader, you had better fucking believe it. It is hard to have respect or admiration or, indeed, even sympathy, for people who are voting to get your kids sick with COVID on the theory that they'll just "get over it" and won't kill grandma or grandpa.
It's hard to have respect for people who, while they might wear a mask (David H., The Omnivore is looking at your hypocritical ass) are backing the guy who has almost single handedly made not-wearing-a-mask part of his party's fucking platform.
It's really, really hard to see someone who says "look past the Demon-Sperm tweets and just focus at what he's done for the economy." Yeah. He's really MAGA'd my dude. You wear the cape for him as the death total climbs and the unemployment rate rages higher and higher and the stimulus funding runs out.
The Omnivore understands you are maybe afraid to air your views on how great Trump is for thinking a mystery server from Hillary's basement proved Russia dindo nuffing to the 2016 election--and you should be.
Saying “Dindus” and more precisely “Dindu nuffin’” is a racist term.
ReplyDeleteRacist, you say? Against... baked goods?
ReplyDeleteMan! You try to avoid the out-and-proud baked bads, you know — the Taliban scones, the Nazi crumpets, the accursed Boko Haram toast points — but how vigilant can you be?
So you’re minding your own business, preparing breakfast, and maybe look away for one second and find that your Pop Tarts are flipping you off and your toaster has burnt a swastika into your multigrain bagels.
Don’t you just hate that?
