'I Survived Eight Years Of Obama--You'll Survive Eight Years Of Trump'

This saying--from the Real American(TM) to the Complaining Libural turns out not ot be especially true.
Yes, it turns out that many of us won't survive. Yes, this may disproportionately hit black communities--so when he asked them what they had to lose? Well, their lives (he also suggested we all had nothing to lose by eating fish tank cleaner). In fact, the hardest hit American city contains his legendary 5th Avenue--where he could kill someone and not lose voters.

It turns out he was right about American Carnage in his nomination acceptance speech--just not the way he meant to be.

Trump's promise of a booming stock market is gone. The job gains are wiped out. The rest of the world is looking at us as an example of what NOT to do. And our military? Oh--right--warned not to "surprise" our commander in chief by protecting their troops. He pardoned a convicted war criminal, had the secretary of the navy resign in protest, and now has removed a well liked aircraft carrier commander for trying to, yes, protect his troops.

Trump has done wonders for our military.

A few weeks ago, North Korea tested some new missiles.

When this is all over, Trump's abject failure on every level won't matter to the dead--but for those of us (?) who live through it, we owe it to them never to forget our friends and neighbors who helped make this happen.

. . . if they themselves lived through it.
